Born and raised in Bournville, I was educated at Bournville Infant, Junior and Senior Schools, before moving on to the University of Central Engand in Birmingham where I studied for my degree in Industrial Information Technology.

I began my working career at Austin Rover where I worked until 1998. I then moved on to work for a local IT Services company and in 2007 I started my own professional services company.

I am married, and have two children who are both educated at schools within the constituancy.

My main interests are current affairs and music.
